I provided a wide array of design services For this client. They were just opening for business when they approached me & they had no visual assets to begin with. They needed a full Corporate Identity Package for their company & a Branding Package for their product line. The initial request was to create and launch a website to introduce the company a sell their products online. We had to work in small stages according to the progress & success of the business. With no graphics, no photos, no marketing copy we had to create everything (or have it created for us) from scratch.

Branding Apex Armor & their products & building a site on a tight budget was going to be a challenge so job one was to produce a set of logos & icons that we could use for all of the webpages, packaging etc. I did an exploration into typefaces & imagery. We decided to go with a custom text version & produced the array shown above

My plan was to develop a company logo & design the initial site using photos & copy provided by the client. Now that an array of custom text logos & icons were created along with various graphic assets for use on the website & branding we could really start to flesh out the clients vision. The first photos were good but had some problems so I started doing the photos myself. With help from the client we created backgrounds & props, acquired an array of product specimens & did several photo shoots of the evolving products over time.

I had the opportunity to develop a sample line of protective backers using my own stock images & artwork.

The company was developing a wide line of cases, mounts, adapters & other products with graphics applied through various methods including screen print, laster etching, hyrocoating & direct printing.
